| Stretton Electorate Boundaries |
In October 2008, the Queensland Redistribution Commission commenced an electoral redistribution of Queensland’s 89 electoral districts.

The changes to the existing Stretton electorate have resulted in:
• part of the suburb of Calamvale east of Algester Road transferred from Algester to unite the suburb within the Stretton electorate;
• part of the suburb of Sunnybank Hills east of Jackson Road and south of Beenleigh Road transferred to the newly named Sunnybank electorate; and
• the entire suburb of Underwood and part of the suburb of Berrinba south of the City of Brisbane boundary transferred to the Woodridge electorate .
The boundary changes were implemented after the 2009 State election.
